Hello my name is Leroy Von Jenkins, im 21 years old and i am a sniper for the German Army.
Week 1.My nation is involved in World War I because we are allies of France and Austria-Hungary. We have major pride in our new industrial and military progress and competing with France and Britain for strongest navy. Also competition for colonies brought France and us to the brink of war. Distrust led us to sign treaties pledging to defend one another. When Austria-Hungary had the assasination of the Archduke we gave full support to Austria-Hungary. Assassination of the Archduke was a disaster. What happened was that there was a serbian clan called The Black Hand that thought up a plan to the kill the Archduke. The original plan was a failure but one member was at the right place at the right time on his arrival and the man shot the Archduke and killed his wife on the way to the hospital.

Week 2. We had a thing called the Schlieffen plan, in my eyes it is a total disaster we were suppose to hold the russians back while we go through and take over Belgium and head straight to France. The plan was an epic fail the Russians mobilized faster than we can hold them back. The sergeant said we would have probably got farther then we did if we had unrestricted u-boat warfare the dirty Americans beg to differ and kept it restricted.

In Germany you see alot of Propaganda posters to persuade almost all ages to signup to join the army in war. All posters carry the same message and that message was to join now and aid us to victory. I also have joined the army do to the poster above i thought it really did send a message through me to join the war.
When Russia exited the war Germany was thrilled that they are nolonger a road block in are journey to victory. But when we heard that USA was now entering the war we were disappointed that now we have a new rival against us"AARRGGHH I hate those Americans."
Week 3. Some of my brotheren spent christmas just talking about home life and other thoughts of warmth and love but me and a couple of my squad members got up from our trench and walked to the enemy territory. i know it sounds crazy but a couple of Brits and us played a nice game of soccer. We won the soccer game and shaked hands for the fact it was a good game but something i still couldnt amagine was that we the Germans and Brits were friends for those 24 hours of christmas and in my mind i felt sick that the next day we had to wage war with them.
Week 4. Me and my nations reaction to the Treaty of Versailles was nothing but pain and anger. We felt it was not fair that we were not aloud to take part in the talks - but just told us to sign it. At first we refused to sign the treaty that the fact we wanted to start war again. We were also mad that they thought we were the blame of the entire were that a load of #$%#$.

After all of the war and everything we have finally signed the treaty and we got to go home. When I got home my entire family was waiting and even some of the local residents were also have to see me but after about 4-5 dys have past everything had simmered down and went back to normal. But I will have to live with the oughts of the war for the rest of my life.
